Relax.  Stay as long as you like.  However, part of our mission is to build awareness about femtocells, so we want to point out some of the other useful femtocell web sites.

    The Few, The Proud
A very few sites are devoted exclusively to femtocells.  If you are new to the field, a good place to start—after the Wikipedia article—is Think Femtocell.  TF contains a lot of basic educational articles including clear descriptions of the technology, plus vendor profiles and interviews with industry leaders.  3G In The Home provides a weekly commentary on happenings in the market.  3GITH's Andy Tiller has been at this for a long time (in femto years), so reading back through his blog is a good way to see how the industry has evolved.  The Femto Forum has built a repository of authoritative information on femtocells including a growing library of white papers and a calendar of industry events.

    Broadening Our Horizons
Then there are the sites more broadly about mobile communications.  3G and 4G Wireless Blog covers all aspects mobile evolution including the role of femtocells in the rollout of LTEDisruptive Wireless, by industry analyst Dean Bubley, likewise takes a broader view. Recently he has addressed the exploding use of 3G dongles as a femtocell market driver.

    Just For Fun
One barometer of femotocells’ transformation of from esoteric to not-quite-mainstream is their increasing appearance on sites that have little to do with mobile communications.  Popmartian.com’s evocative tag line “A pile of tech news” has seen fit to include Verizon’s femtocell plans in its pile.  For the latest on femtocell deployments in Singapore plus ads for Philippine dating services visit kramfs.com. According to Advantages of Internet Marketing, femtocells are a must-have device for internet marketers.  No argument here.
